A quick catch-up -- further Manito adventures

Ross and I played at Manito Park on President's Day.

In the greenhouse:

Outside:
We tromped through some snowy areas and discovered some odd-looking lichens (or moss?) that had blown down from the trees.

I think they look like something from the pages of Dr. Seuss -- don't you?

Those lichens are VERY Seuss like! They would be FUN to draw! Thanks for visiting my new blog by the way! :):)It's so much easier to stay in touch with other bloggers this way. :)

Isn't that where the Whos live in Horton Hears a Who? Did you know can boil that stuff up and make dyes? It's fun stuff for many reasons.

Great photos of Ross expecially the one with the tulips. Looks like you had a really fun day at the park.
