Chaplin, our friend

Chaplin in the kitchen

Our old friend, Chaplin, is near his end. He can barely extend his tongue to drink water; the mouth cancer is taking its toll. Chris and I have decided that we will put him down tomorrow. Please, think comforting thoughts for all of us. Thank you.

Judy, I'm so sorry about your poor kitty. That's just what happened to my old cat a month ago. I am getting teary as I write this.

Why do we get so attached to our pets.

Chaplin will love kitty heaven where there is no mouth cancer, but lots of milk, cheese and fish. You are being kind to him while he must be in pain. Hug eachother from us.

Oh Honey,
I am just so sorry for you, Chris and Ross. I know the pain you are all feeling and I respect your grief. He is in a much better place but that is little comfort. He has been a great cat, buddy, friend and pal to you and Chris.
Much love to all of you.
Cathy

Oh, Judy, I've been there, having to make that decision for my Trixie, and it is hard, but you know you want his suffering to end. I'll be holding you all in my heart in your loss. So sorry.

Judy--I'm so sorry about Chaplin and that big hole that is left by a beautiful, furry creature. Your family is in my thoughts and consider yourself hugged.
