A bright Mother's Day

The main reason I like tie-dye: it's somewhat unpredictable. I like the surprises as I untie and rinse the fabric. These dyes turned out brighter than I thought they would. The hoodie is gaudier than I would have liked, but hey, there are times when it's good to stand out in a crowd.

I decided to make some last-minute earrings yesterday -- I attended a Mad Hatter's tea and garden party, and the flower yo-yos fit the theme perfectly.

A bright and cheery Mother's Day to all!
