There are lots of scarves on my brain these days. . . . Shortly before Christmas, I met
Debbie DuPey. She is a multitalented woman who has dedicated herself to helping Guatemalan women earn a fair wage by selling their beautiful scarves in the U.S. Our church bookstore has taken a few of her scarves to sell, but we don't have a great place to display them.
Fortunately, the local newspaper ran an article about Debbie's venture. I cut it out and decided to give it a little oomph by drawing a background for it.
Now the sign is hanging next to the scarves. I hope it draws attention to a good cause.
